Five for Friday!

I drafted this post last Friday, but I decided to go ahead and publish it today, since I've spent most of the week with my family.  I'll do a recap of our visit next week, but in the meantime, here is what else has been happening!

One thing that SC likes to do is pull books off of our bookshelves and then hand them to me.  She handed The Nightingale, and I got pulled into the story.  While I think the plot and writing are a bit clunky at points, the author did make me think more about what how the war was for women.
I finally made it to a yoga class!  I know that doesn't seem noteworthy, but considering that I made it one of my new year's goals five months ago and then did absolutely nothing, I felt pretty excited about it!

As I mentioned, one of my friends is expecting so I took a few maternity pictures for her during SC's nap time.  I think they turned out ok, and it makes me happy that she has this moment documented! Speaking of expectant mothers, I find this charity's mission so moving.
We've been taking little trips to Williamsburg!  SC really soaked up the extra time with grandma!  I love that I can tell her that we are going and she understands.
We've been loving our spring days with our trips to the park!  Sometimes the husband even joins us for a quick outing after work!
I hope everyone has a lovely Mother's Day weekend!

SC is just so adorable and sweet! Aw!

Caleb is obsessed with pulling books off my shelves. It makes me bananas. Haha. I am constantly putting them back in order and then he pulls them off again.
